Calling all families! Fishing is a great way to bring people together to create lifelong memories. Our workshop teaches families with children the basic skills needed to go fishing. It doesn’t matter if you are a first-timer or an expert angler; this workshop will help everyone in the family on the path to creating an outdoor adventure and cherished fishing memories. This workshop is a hands-on learning experience for all, including fishing on the center’s stocked ponds. Families will learn:

• How to set up and cast a fishing rod
• How to tie a basic fishing knot – How to catch a fish
• Catch and Release fishing methods
• How to properly handle a fish

What you need to know:

• This course is 3-hours long
• Children 15 years and younger need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian
